Christian's are to follow God's rules or commandments. If the churches follow God's rules then the Christian can safely follow the church as long as it doesn't deviate from them.

As one person put it - It is safe to follow the pastor if the pastor follows the Master.

This site really freaked me out.

I don't see anything in the Bible about heaven being only for angels. What about when Satan went in in the book of Job? Or in the book of Revelation?

What about 1 Corinthians 14: 22 Tongues, then, are a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers; prophecy, however, is not for unbelievers but for believers. 23 So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and inquirers or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind? 24 But if an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are brought under judgment by all, 25 as the secrets of their hearts are laid bare. So they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, "God is really among you!"

And then there are "What would Jesus do?" thongs advertised on the same website!

Oh my goodness, no! There's nothing Christlike at all about that. If you want to know what it really means to be a Christian, go here: http://www.mandikaye.com/2006/12/12/what-does-christian-mean/

Men are very fallible. Following men will lead you nowhere. Be a follower of Christ, not a follower of men.

To answer this question, we need to know your understanding of the word "Church"

Is it the local Church, is it the universal Church or is it Church, the Body of Christ?

Different definitions will give different answers!

Sola Scriptura

church has its interests to protect. so all rules made by the church need not reflect Gods point of view on the subject!

Considering Landover Baptist is a parody site, I think it would be silly to try and follow their "rules".
