I think you've got it all wrong. Homosexuals want an end to Christians barring them, through lobbying and legislation, from enjoying their human right to marry the person of their choosing.

Homosexuals can be Christians- absolutely! I have a homosexual friend who is a Christian. He is aware that it is a sin to "act" on his homosexuality, so he doesn't act on it, he simply lives his life, therefore I don't believe he is sinning. Everyone is entitled to believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior regardless of who they are. You question is like asking "Why do alcoholics want to be accepted at Christians?" or "Why do teenage mothers want to be accepted as Christians." They have all sinned as well, but they can still love the Lord!

It would only be the gay people who are already Christian or want to be Christian. Not every gay person in the world believes in Jesus. A number of gay people I know who are Christian understand that their church does not accept them and they either don't care or wish that the 'rules' would change. A friend of mine is gay and super Christian. She says she 'knows' Jesus died for her sins and only God will judge her in the end, not her church leaders. She actually says she believes she is 'sinning' but that her good deeds on earth and the love she has for Jesus in her heart will make up for it and that she will go to heaven. She's only mildly annoyed that her family's church denies her communion since she's open about being gay.

Not all Christians think homosexuals are sinners.
Maybe that's why.

There are a lot of them out there. I know a couple of homosexuals who claim to be Christians. It is not my place to judge them but they should be careful. Yes Jesus loves us in the state we are in but He also expects us to change our sinful nature.
Please... no more e-mails. Thanks.
