is there any hook up i could buy that i could hook up from my computer to my tv, so that i could watch my computer movies on my tv?

yeah an S-Video cable is what you want...you can go to radio shack and pick it up for under 10 bucks

There are several video cards out for computers that have TV out capabilities, the best seem to be either ATI or Nvidia. I have an Nvidia card in my computer as well as a TV card, but the TV card I have is no longer made. My vid card does have both out puts for either a second monitor or a TV. If you are just using the video that is on your mother board I highly recommend that you consider getting a good video card.

To that TV-PC question, you need to have a special type of converter.

Yes, there is such a device. It's called a "VGA to TV converter." Do a search with those terms on Google. You'll get pages of hits.
