I'll humor you for a few of your questions. You ask too many for one posting to get serious responses. Try asking no more than three questions at a time.
You probably need to define hard core christian as well.
Anywho.. #2. yes. Gay marriage is an oxymoron. Marriage is an institution that originated with God. God established it for the purpose of pro-creation and mutual satisfaction of a husband and wife.
#2b. Abortion rights. Are you really asking a Christian if they believe in the right to murder. This is why I ask you to define hard core christian. Abortion is ending a life. Regardless of the stage of development, the one thing that is never denied is that the fetus is a developing entity.
#3. Yes. I have children.
#4. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. There is none righteous, no not one. Christianity is the method of forgiveness and acceptance by God. "Arrogant as all get out, isn't it?"
#5. Interesting question. Magic often is demonic or satanic influence. It is very real. Mermaids, have fish, half human, eh nah!
7. Hold a few doctorates, irrelevant because it means that I have a few areas in which I am brilliant in, but I have neglected so many other areas. People who are educated recognize one great truth, that they know very little.
#8. Definitely have shown respect for other's holidays. Practiced would indicate a belief in it to a degree. (IMHO), so no.
#9. No. Actually, (Hey do you know anything about what a Christian is?) Christianity teaches to deny self, not promote self. That is humanism that promotes self. I die to myself daily.
#10. ??????
#12. Evil has been resident on earth since about the beginning of time. The authors of the Bible were inspired by God to write, so it wasn't the opinions of men that cause us to have Holy Scripture.
Hey this was fun, and I hope it helped.

3- My husband and I are unable to have children- so I am very thankful that their birth moms did not believe in abortion either
4- All people are sinners and need Jesus.
5- I believe that magic is just that magic- but I do not look to magic for anything but entertainment.
6- I have never seen God as a person walking around but I see Him with my inner heart- those people who are Christians will understand what I am talking about
7- My GPA was 3.7 in high school. By they way, Christians are not stupid as you may be implying.
8- I have looked at other religions but out of respect to the one true living God- I have chosen Christianity
9- I will say I do not have a religion- I have a relationship with God. Christianity doesn't teach self-esteem - it shows us how to be humble in His eyes.
