Read also other literature. I bought a book just today: " Unveiling Islam" by Ergun Mehmet Caner, Emir Fethi Caner.

Take a class on Islam at a local college. It's almost impossible to grasp the book any other way.

dont get into polytheists such as hinduism.... stay in the path of Monotheists... such as juda, christ, and islam!
If you want to understand Islam.. take a class... its impossible for a NON-ARABIC to understand Quran from its translation. I recommend you watching Zakir Naik on youtube...!
