Tomorrow i will buy a 600 GB, 500MHZ computer with up to 500 in memory. And i some help on which software i should put into it.
I like games like Soccer, i use Microsoft Word everyday, i down load music once a week, i use yahoo.com, Hotmail.com, ICQ; and i always down load pictures and inportant information for my and student's knowledge. Please help me with any Software or programs you would use to enhance what i use on a daily basis. Thanks..............Joe

Don't forget about having a good anti-virus and spyware protection. Sure you don't want a 800MHZ instead? Take your RAM up to 1GB if you can afford it you will be happier with it.

I think there are some problems with your configuration, how come you use so large a Hard disk while the other parts are some kind of mediocre, a larger hard disk makes the routine scanning process lengthy and the searching process time-consuming, if you really have much to store, use a DVD-RW instead.
A vista-friendly computer, which is a must in the foreseeable future, requires at least 1GB RAM and an independent Video card, so invest more on these stuff, balance the hardware, that's it.
