The System needs to stop illegal immigration. That's a fact. There are immigrants here because there is a better life for them.
But also, The System needs to fix the problem with all the immigrants here. I am not saying that you have to give them amnesty (actually there is not any reform saying amnesty) I am saying a work permit. Background check, taxes paid.
The System needs them. They are here because they have a job, a live. They just need a really good way to identify each one and penalize them same than any other individual in US.

We already have a path for citizenship. The problem is that the government does not enforce the law. If they did we would not have the issue of illegal aliens. We should not have 36 percent of illegal aliens on welfare and 33 percent in our prison population.

Nope! I favor a path for 20 to 30 million illegal aliens to return to their home country.
Amnesty reward criminal behavior! It is WRONG!

Yes I do, but I believe that it needs to be earned. I do not believe that it should just be handed to 12 million that are already here. Taxes need to be paid along with a criminal back ground check......(has to be fingerprint since they will not be on record via social.) This would just to find out if they are making an attempt to be a descent person. If they have a criminal back ground then they should be sent back. This will not be a perfect system since the criminals will not come forward and be identified, and unfortunately it will fall upon the police and the border patrol to keep checking.

The only thing most Americans favor are mass deportations.

No. They have to earn it. And they have to go back to their country and apply like what countless legal immigrants did. It's unfair. Nothing is free or easy.

No. I wouldn't reward a burglar who broke into my house.
