When I try to boot from CD, I get the splash screen and press Enter to boot. Then the screen goes black and my hard drive stops spinning. Any ideas as to what is wrong?

If you downloaded the ISO, you must "Burn the ISO" not just copy the file to a CD.
I use ISO Recorder (free).

for this reason zipper boots suck lol the subject with getting a "new" zipper is that extremely some situations the business company doing the artwork would not certainly replace the zipper, they only restore it. basically getting it fastened isn't too costly, and getting an entire new zipper would not precisely ruin the economic enterprise. yet once you get a clean zipper, it's going to greater beneficial than probably void any guarantee on the boots (except this is fastened by employing the business company). I say basically get an entire new zip put in. Takes some days, rather much less costly. basically be helpful to maintain the fly sparkling!!! lots of the time while the zipper breaks this is because of the fact lots airborne dirt and dirt gets in it. and start up up carrying black electric powered tape with you (long tale as to why i understand how THAT works for busted zippers...)
