If something does not hurt anyone and doesn't have consequences following the action; how is it wrong? To me, right and wrong depends on consequences

It's like this, mankind wants to be their own rulers and in essence their own "god". Each person wants to decide for themselves what constitutes right and wrong. But we all have a divine Creator who says that He is the one who decides what is right or wrong. In addition to all of that, when you do something that God says is wrong then there are always negative consequences. Just because we don't see them doesn't mean that they don't exist. They make take a while to come about and seem like they are unconnected but God tells us not to do things for our own good. It isn't like He is some human ruler who makes arbitrary rules just to suit his own fancy. God loves us and He wants what is best for us. When He says something is wrong to do then there is a very good reason for it even if it seems to us in our finite minds that there are no negative consequences for our disobedience.

To me wrong is anything that causes any kind of harm to anyone or anything. That would include ones self. I would love to know an example of an action that has no consequences. Ever hear of the Butterfly Effect?

well, right or wrong also has to do with moral values as well not just consequences. if it is okay with your moral standards and has absolutly no consequenses (which almost nothing doesnt have consequenses, either good or bad) then by all means go for it, but may I ask what is it you plan to do? and i do have to add that if you have to ask if its okay to do it, you must have doubts about your own values and it is WRONG.
