"After walking a little farther, he quickly bowed with his face to the ground and prayed, "Father, if it's possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. But let your will be done rather than mine." Matthew 26:39

I have never had a prayer go unanswered. I have very rarely gotten a "sugar daddy Santa" prayer answered anything but "no" because the thing I was praying for would be real bad for me. It is the same reason we always tell our children no when they ask for stuff they don;t need. We are trying to teach them that what we provide is plenty enough.

Praise GOD for the no answers!

yes....it can seem frustrating at times because it can seem forever before God's time and our time match. Some people advocate keeping a prayer journal so you can tick off your answered prayers. But also we have certain expectations. We may offer a prayer and the answer might not be what we are looking for.

OH, my goodness YES!!!

Our most recent praise around my house is for my dad. The doctors diagnosed him with a debilitating, life-long, hiddeously painful and MEDICALLY INCURABLE disorder called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. There is therapy - no cure.

We got the prayer chain rolling on it - and in a months time he is 90% back to normal - and pain free without meds!

Isaiah 59:1 Behold, the LORD’S arm is not so short, that it cannot save; neither his ear so deaf, that it cannot hear:

Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

PEACE!

Oh! YES!

Many answers. Many things I need are mine.
We had a major disaster last summer when struck by an 18 wheeler. Our car was totaled and we survived. Witnesses said the car end over ended, then barrel rolled into the median. All this taking place just a few miles from home.
In the only area where we would come out alive!
Multiple injuries, many broken bones. And the amazing thing, even after our insurance was maxed out, means to continue with medical help still presented themselves.
My wife found doctors who knew how to fix her broken back in Tampa Florida....and they did. Last Thursday.
At The Laser Spine Center.

Prayers answered.........You betcha

Still have a roof over my head, still have food on the table, against all odds. Some of my prayers were answered with a No, such as many prayers earlier in my life to die. Still here.

The purpose of prayer is to focus your attention on God and on the truth. In doing so one is to align their will with the Creators, so that things go better for them. Prayers are not meant to be a wish list in which God is supposed to fulfill. That is nothing more than selfishness and misunderstanding.

You bet. I have been healed many times, and didn't have to have a surgery. I have had money come in at just the time I needed it. My whole family has gotten saved, all as a result of prayer. Ive had many more, but sometimes its not immediate and sometimes the answer is no.

Yes, lots of them. I need prayers for my wayward 9 year old niece now. She has been suspended from school prior due to stealing purses at school, then stole other things, now is banned from the school library for the rest of the year. She is bigger than the rest of the kids, and has a very bad Daddy and her mommy is doing the best she can, but .................. Her mommy has memory problems from falling off a ladder and breaking her neck, answered prayers for her walking. Please pray for my niece that she gets back on the straight and narrow road. Thank you.
