Just like the indiginous people of Australia my great grandmother was also born under a gum tree - over a hundred and fifty years ago. But outsiders with a written history have only been here for about 200 years... so "time" is impossible (and irrelevant) to guage from verbal history kept by indigenous people.
We know that the Australian indigenous community is an ancient one as evidenced for example, by some obviously very old rock art, human remains and artifacts.
I recently suggested that the culture is 40,000 years old (which is the age that scientists have dated some rock art and human remains) but this Muslem guy I was talking to said it could be no older than 5,000 years.
Now if my ancestors from Australia are 5000 years old or 40,000 years old.. the fact is that nobody from Islam or from Christianity came here until 200 years ago... .so if we are all gods children... why then are my ancestors.. .the bulk of them anyway.. all condemned to hell for want of God's laws?

no. monotheists are full of it.
cherish your people's ways. they are an important part of humanity's richness, and so many other treasures have been ruined already.
40,000 to 50,000 is the number I've always heard for your people. Some people claim the world is only 6,000 years old, but don't worry about them. they're irrelevant.

They're not.
Anyone who responds to the grace that God gives all human beings, and makes a conscience effort to cooperate with it in a positive way, even if they've never been formally introduced to God, has the potential of being "saved".
God is the judge.
Here's the biblical "proof" text:
Rom 2:10 But glory and honour and peace to every one that worketh good: to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Rom 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
Rom 2:12 For whosoever have sinned without the law shall perish without the law: and whosoever have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law.
Rom 2:13 For not the hearers of the law are just before God: but the doers of the law shall be justified.
Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, who have not the law, do by nature those things that are of the law; these, having not the law, are a law to themselves.
Rom 2:15 Who shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness to them: and their thoughts between themselves accusing or also defending one another,
Rom 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

N O-ONE is condemned to "The Lake of Fire " for wanting of God's Law !!! God gave us ALL free choice to make our own decision as to what you personally believe. The Primate supposedly is our relative if you believe Scientists, but, if that were true, then why have they not evolved to be Humans competitor's ? We are God's Children, not the Primate's. Some people believe they are better then other people, and look down or worse on other people. I believe what Jesus said, " It is better to be in the back of the line, then push yourself in front of others". Jesus is Love, why hate or despise Love and kindness? The other guy treat you like that too ? If you believe that, then you shall be with Him forever !! God Bless !!

They were not. When Islam spread, the preceding laws of the prophet which was sent upon that nation were eradicated.
You see, all nations were sent prophets with laws that were adapted to that particular culture, and so long as the message and laws were not tainted nor corrupted, then it would remain an authentic path of Heaven until the Message of Islam arrived.
I hope you understand.
Knowledge is power; power is freedom; freedom is peace...
May peace be upon you...

The simple answer is that your ancestors AREN'T condemned.
The Old Testament Law was meant for the Jews and their covenant with their tribal god Yahweh. It wasn't meant for us Gentiles at all. The Bible itself says this. So, no worries, your ancestors ain't in Hell.

No, where r u getting this from? god is merciful, it is not only your ancestors, it's everyone who lived before any religion. Those people are not going to hell, they simply were not alive to see or hear god's message.

All are saved unless they learn of Jesus and reject him. That is the logic of church poeple.
So why tell people about Jesus anyway?
