I own a small business. I have a logo. I lost the original file, but the company that prints my business cards has the graphic in an EPS file format. What in the world do I do with it. I can open it in word but it is 143 pages of text. I simply want the graphic image to use.

The logo is an encapsulated PostScript file. You have two options. You can print the file on a PostScript-enabled laser printer and scan the output, which you will then save in the image format of your choosing. The second option would be to find a utility that converts from EPS to an image format.
