Why would your friend want to lie about the guy still liking you? You can feel it whether the guy likes you or not without anyone telling you so. It doesn't matter what you told him after all you are a human and capable of showing your emotion, you should be happy that you have a heart that is filled with love. I know someday there is someone somewhere who will be worthy for you to love. Don't worry, there is nothing embarassed to show one's feelings. Just forget about what happened, cos we don't live for yesterday but today, tomorrow and thereafter. Cheer up!

The best way to heal a broken heart is to do something creative. It fills the 'void' or the 'hole' you feel inside. Believe me I've had more than one broken heart and this always works for me. Take a cooking course, art course, or anything you enjoy. Write poetry, write stories, it doesn't matter just be creative. Your heart will heal and the next one that comes along will be even better than this one.

It will take time, and the only thing you can do about it is to just keep on living your life and try not to think about him. It can be hard at first, but it does get easier. You need to just surround yourself with your friends and family and have a good time.
Take a night off, get some ice cream, and watch a movie that will make you cry your eyes out. Once that is over, don't think about this guy anymore, he is not worth all that trouble.

Your heart will heal & so will your bruised pride of embarrassment. Shame on your "friends" for not being honest with you, as that was totally unfair of them. Your friends certainally weren't doing you any favors, they were just prolonging your hurt. As far as the guy goes, be thankful you are rid of him. Who needs someone who just ended up hurting you for an extended period of time. Be glad you're rid of him. Time does heal, & someone will come along that you'll feel comfortable with & you'll know it by the way he treats you - with respect! Just be careful of not rebounding & choose the wrong person because you are hurting at this time. Take it easy & carefully, you WILL be OK. Take it as a lesson learned.

It takes time, so do whatever you need to get over it. Like workout or do something you like. Maybe get some new friends who are going to watch your back. Boyfriends are not meant to know everything about you. That is what a husband is for.

It's terrible that your supposed "friends" and he mistreated you so, but i think you're on the way to recovery already. Time is the key factor in healing emotional wounds. The more that passes, the less what he and they did will hurt.

only time can really heal a broken heart... give it time, if you have to, let it out.. cry, listen to slow music, wallow, but let it out, and have friends there to comfort you also, you'll be over him in no time. best of luck!
