Why is it that evolutionists get so cranky when I say it is the dumbest idea on earth?? Don't get SOOOO mad... you only believe the idea because you were told to believe it and you still don't quite understand it yet. NEITHER did I. So I USED to believe it until I started studying it on my own. But the real question is this is the RELIGION group... GO GET YOUR OWN ROOM!!!!!!! Otherwise, don't be such poor sports... you will hopefully think on your own one day too!!!

I understand that you're only a child. I understand that you're ranting this way because you feel like you know everything (or at least act like it). I forgive you and know that one day you will look back and realize how brazen and wrong you were.

Rather than remain in the relm of religion and science delve into the area of psyche where a person who believes something for a very extended period of time will have a very difficult time hearing a counter story, this is the same for people on both sides of the spectrum. The is no right or wrong because those are just points of view

Lack of religion is a viable topic in a Religion/Spirituality board.
Thinking on your own? Accepting an ancient book that an entire religion is founded on doesn't seem too independent to me.
I doubt you've studied it on your own.
I am slowly angered by creationists saying "HOW DID WE COME FROM APES IF THEY ARE STILL AROUND HA BET YOU CAN'T ANSWER THAT". If anyone ever asked a seriously intelligent question on evolution I'd be bothered to answer it and possibly start an intelligent debate. But Y! Answers isn't a debate board, it's a troll/'my-opinion-is-correct, so-shut-up-poopyhead' board.

Ah, the "I know what I'm talking about but you don't because my opinion is always right" rant. Love, those rants. Okay, so because evolution is a contradictory theory to the story of creation, its on the religion and spirituality board as part of the whole "finding the meaning of life/how did we get here" thing. Therefore, its part of this section. Love it or hate it, whatever.
Anyway, thats great that you've studied evolution and made up your mind about it. But so have many other people, namely scientists, and many would disagree with your findings. I love how you assume people don't understand evolution just because you don't. And the whole insulting us and expecting us to be cool with it, well thats not very logical, now is it? So go take some chill-pills and lay off the caps lock.

Do you ever go to a doctor? If so, you are a hypocrite and a liar. Modern medicine (as with all life sciences) collapses and is meaningless without evolution. If all of you anti-science believers in the mythology of illiterate Semitic goat herders would be true to your faith and quit utilizing the medical science you claim is false, it would free up resources for better educated and more deserving people.
If you had really studied the issue, you would have reached a different conclusion. Therefore, you either did not really study (in which case you are a liar) or you have a learning disability which you should seek treatment for.

As wirh everything else creationists mention, the haoles have been discredited

The contemporaneity of human and dinosaur footprints is one of my personal favorite creationist lies. Why do you guys always fail to mention that a cast of your ‘human’ footprint holds 5 gallons of water? Oh, that’s right, because you are dishonest in everything you say. ROTFLMAO

It is 'independent', not 'independant'.

Like it, lump it, or dip it in chocolate, you live in a world full of people who don't see things the same way you do. You might as well get used to it and start acting like an adult about it.
Most atheists that I have known are interested in discussing religion because: 1) they seek to understand the people they disagree with; 2) the religion that other people believe, especially the Christian religion, has a great deal of effect on their lives and their country. They are not going to quit and go away because you are annoyed with them for disagreeing with you.
I am myself a Christian who disagrees with your views, and I am not going to shut up and go away either.

Because there is a mountain of evidence and it has been a tested theory for 150 years. There has not been a single peer reviewed paper against it in at least 100 years.
It isn't that we get mad that you don't believe it. But you really do sound delusional.
And we aren't the ones that ask about it here. You guys are. You just did it. Go ask them in the Biology section and watch the reaction. You think we make fun of you....

we get cranky because people who clearly have made no effort to understand the basic premise try to use the flimsiest of arguments over and over.
It's a battle of wits with only one side armed and ready, so it gets monotonous.
Surprise us; study up and ask an intelligent question.
PS anyone can be "told" to believe something, but if you're being a responsible person, you continually re-evaluate based upon evidence and reason. Evolution is stil lthe best and only theory going; ancient texts are an interesting curiousity, but they are not science or evidence.

I always find it so interesting when people call hundreds of thousands of biologists, geologists, and anthropologists (with doctorates in science) all over the world, who accept the theory of evolution as fact, "Dumb." It's so amusing.

Wow. Where did you get your scientific education? Church? Was Bohemoth a dinosaur? Did the man running the seminar make you sing that song and repeat after him that science is a lie?
