Well if you think about it Adultery is a form of theft. Stealing another persons future spouses honor. Stealing the love of another person. Stealing time from your spouse.
So I guess given your example theft would be the worst. But, no sin is greater than the other. All sin is good enough to get you front row seats in hell.

Worshipping another God,
but otherwise theft, because adultery is easier 2 commit,
it's just checking someone out

When a man commits adultery with a woman, he is stealing her from her husband/future husband. So adultery is theft but more added to it.

well, from a biblical or w/e point of view, they're both equal and such, right? sin is sin as that one other person said. but if you asked me which one i thought was more wrong/worse, i'd say adultery (or theft, but depending). how could you take someone's heart and body and then scar it for sex?

adultery. It is sinning against the body which is the Temple for the Holy Spirit.
To the fellow above: Fornication is NOT okay.

adultery. it's too self-serving, while theft can sometimes be used to help others survive. adultery has nothing to do with anyone but the people committing it, and those people don't NEED it.

I would consider it to be adultery. Adultery is a personal betrayal of trust, and a breaking of one's word. Besides, aren't you supposed to love your wife? You're not supposed to do things like that to people you love.
