So many Christians out there says that unless you have God/Jesus in your heart, you will go Hell.

Let's pretend for a moment that a Christian needed a heart transplant. So along comes an Atheist who is a match and the procedure goes ahead.

So now we have a Christian with the heart of an Atheist in which there is no God residing. So let's say that this Christian/Atheist hybrid then dies, before gaining consciousness.

Does he go to Heaven becuase he was a Chrsitian up until they took his heart - or does he go to hell because he does not have God/Jesus in his heart?

I could end this asking for serious answers only - but when does that ever happen!

I do like your question, it means you are seriously seeking the truth. This may or may not be the truth, so it is up to you to decide.

The Egyptians, who the Christians stole much of their religion from considered the heart more than the blood pump in your chest. They believed that the Solar Plexus was the seat of thought, not the brain. And when a person died, their heart was weigh against a feather. If it was heavier than than a feather it meant the persons heart was heavy. I am not Christian, the god in my heart, is the Higher Intelligence I believe to be within me. Its more like an Intuitive Intelligence. I for one try not to have a heavy heart, I try more to be Light Hearted.

Like most religions, they put the idea of god out there somewhere. When actually god (Higher Intelligence) is all around us and yes, within us. When you find the god within, you will know there is more to us than mere organs.

Best to you on your journey

First of all if God lives in your heart he probably is all sticky and red(covered in blood).

Secondly the Christian probably is already going to hell since he and his/her connections got moved up on the transplant list to get the heart, meanwhile the go ahead of a child who really needed the heart and the child dies because of the Christian.

The idea that atheists exist without God/Jesus in their hearts is silly. Everyone exists as a part of God.

Atheists are not exceptions to this rule.

It doesn't mean the literal heart of flesh. You might have noticed that when your feelings are hurt, you can feel it in the center of your chest. That feeling is in your spirit. The literal heart is like a portal. That statement of having Jesus in your heart means that if you study the life of Jesus in the new testament, you will learn how much he loved everyone. That is the love you should learn to feel too. Then you will have him in your heart. Love is the one thing that ascends into the Kingdom of God so we must learn to become beings of Love.

The Christian would glady take the heart from the atheist because they don't care about anyone but themselves.

Bible God would lift that Christian up as 'wise' like Jacob, tricking the dumb atheist (Esau)!

God doesn't live in the actual organ, although His creation company sticker does reside in everyone's heart, as He made it, but He lives in the heart of our spiritual self. So no the athiest would not go to heaven, and the Christian would if they believe in Christ and continue to follow His will.

Jesus Christ is not literally in my heart; He is in my deepest thoughts and emotions. So that Christian would remain a Christian after the heart transplant.

Heart means the center of the total personality, esp. with reference to intuition, feeling, or emotion. The term "heart" is used figuratively when Christians say that God/Jesus is in your heart.

Saying god lives in your heart means god has become a part of your inner person. This is a spirttual relationship it is is not physical so a heart transplant would make no diffrence.
