Didn't anyone tell you, the rapture happened last week. Jesus came and took all the worthy people to heaven.
All the Buddhists are gone.

Rapture: If the chosen ones were gone what difference would it make how long it took?
(Matthew 24:21-22) 21 for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.
(2 Peter 3:5-7) 5 For, according to their wish, this fact escapes their notice, that there were heavens from of old and an earth standing compactly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God; 6 and by those [means] the world of that time suffered destruction when it was deluged with water. 7 But by the same word the heavens and the earth that are now are stored up for fire and are being reserved to the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly men.
In the same way as the flood? the globe was still here only the wicked were gone.
(2 Peter 3:13) 13 But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell.
A cleansed earth.
Psalms 37:9,10,11 Proverbs 2;21 Those scriptures say the wicked are being ripped from the earth. So who's leaving?

That is a loaded question, although you may not know it. Pre-trib rapture folks will say that the rapture will happen before the tribulation starts and thus before the official second coming, which will occur after the tribulation is over (it will take seven years). Post-trib folks will say that the second coming occurs at the same time, pretty much, as the rapture, so all Christians, along with the rest of humanity, will have to try to make it through the tribulation. Mid-tribulation folks believe that the rapture will occur half-way through the tribulation, and then Jesus's second coming of course occurs at the end. I myself am a "post-tribber" who really is hoping for a rapture BEFORE the trib. But I don't think it will happen.

I cannot give you any scripture concerning the "rapture" because the bible does not teach such a thing. I imagine that some people are fooled by the fact that Paul speaks of instant conversion to be with Jesus more than once. This is a result of incomplete knowledge or focusing on one part of the bible that suits you and ignoring all the rest. The bible must be taken as a whole and must be harmonious throughout. Careful study will show that God has selected 144,000 humans to go to heaven and rule with Jesus for 1000 years.- Revelation 14:1 All of the early disciples were of the heavenly class. Paul may not have even been aware that all the rest of mankind would not go to heaven. God reveals information on a need to know basis. The rest of mankind who survive Armageddon will live forever on the earth which will be restored to paradise conditions. Daniel 2:44 - Micah 4 - Isaiah 45:18 -Isaiah 33:24 - Isaiah 65:17, 21-25 - Psalms 37:9-11, 29 If you read Genesis 2:17 and Genesis 3;4 you will see that God offered Adam life or death. Not heaven or hell. It was Satan who suggested that even if they disobeyed God they would somehow go one living. This is why Satan is called the father of the lie and churches have been perpetrating the lie of a soul ever since. Genesis 2:7 points out that God breathed into Adam's nostrils the breath of life and man BECAME a living soul. Ezekiel 18:4 tells you clearly that the soul that sins will die. Not be punished forever in a place of fiery torment. Jesus will not return to the earth. He told his disciples the earth would see him no more. if you read Matthew 24:3 you will see that they asked him not when they would see him again but when would be the sign of his presence. Those signs began to occur in 1914 and are still occurring. This date also coincides with the end of the time of the Gentiles (nations) Luke 21:24. We know that Jesus has taken up his throne and his first act as king was to throw Satan out of heaven and confine him to the earth. He knew this would occur and so he was able to tell us what would happen when he did. It is Satan in his rage, who is causing the "signs" we are seeing. The second "coming" of Jesus has already occurred. The third will be when he comes with the armies of heaven to destroy all that is evil on the earth. Governments false religion and incorrigible people. You will not see him. You wil see the destruction or be part of it. Psalms 37:34 I hope this gives you some insight to the truth. There is much more to it and not enough room here. For a complete understanding of the truth based on the bible and not man's conceit please contact Jehovah's witnesses. They have dedicated their lives to helping people learn the truth. By God's instructions, there is no charge for this.

They're the same exact event. Post Tribulation.
Look at Revelation 20:4-6.
4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.
If the first resurrection occurs after the Great Tribulation, how could there be a previous resurrection? And yes the rapture is the resurrection.
Also check out this verse
29 But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory. 31 And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. [Matt. 24:29-31]
So again we see that it appears the rapture happens at the end of the great tribulation. Another interesting point is if all of the Christians would disappear off the face of the Earth, then how stupid could the human race be to deny what is going on.

The Rapture, some believe, is when the Christians get caught up into heaven
The Second Coming of Christ is when Christ appears with all the glory and authority of heaven.

The word "rapture" does not occur in the Bible. The concept of the Rapture, though, is clearly taught in Scripture. The Rapture of the church is the event in which God removes all believers from the earth in order to make way for His righteous judgment to be poured out on the earth during the Tribulation period.
In His first coming, Jesus was the suffering servant. In His Second Coming, Jesus will be the conquering King. In His first coming, Jesus arrived in the most humble of circumstances. In His Second Coming, Jesus will arrive with the armies of Heaven at His side.

One is a fallacy and the other is coming soon. If you believe
IIThess 2 is the rapture then look for it. I personally think it is the single biggest immobilizer of Christians today. Jesus said it will be as it was in the days of Noah. Also see Matt 13 for Jesus warnings. Why wait- get the rapture now and believe like Enoch or Elijah? They were both prophets- "declare the Word o the Lord and spare not." Then you'll be ready no matter what your persuasion, doctrine, or churchianity.

The rapture takes place at the second coming. This world hates Christians and wants us gone. God gives everyone freedom of choice so that's exactly whats going to happen. At the second coming of Christ, all who love him will regain the ability to float and rise up to meet him in the air. That mass assension is the Rapture.

The Rapture is a point in time where Jesus takes away the believers in a flash.
The second coming is when Jesus returns to earth with his followers for the final battle.
