http://gunsamerica.com has lots of guns in many price ranges. check that out. wal mart usually has a decent selection, dont know prices though. pawn shops usually have a good selection at decent prices if you dont mind used guns. Depends on how soon you need to kill something and what your willing to settle for. just my ideas.

I agree with the Remington 870 crowd. It is pump action so it will never jam and it operates very quickly. I have used them on patrol (cop) for years and I own one in 20 ga. A friend has a Mossberg pump 12 ga that works great. It is in the same price range and equals the Rem in quality but it is more difficult to disassemble and clean.

That is a pretty open ended question. $250-$350, is that for new or used? What will it be used for? Home Defence, Bird Hunting, Deer Hunting. To answer the question I would have to be practical. For that price I would look at Rem. 870

Id look into the Remington 870 line. You can get a Remignton 870 Express for around 250. they are good reliable guns, i have own two fo them, and have nver had a problem with eitehr one. they are both very reliable, and i wouldnt ever get rid of them. The wingmaster line is a little higher price and quality, so step up to them if you can.

Here's some advice, don't buy a gun. Spend your money on a book instead, maybe a college class. You could even donate it to a televangelist. They'd at least use it on things that don't kill.
