Bit of a long answer sorry,
Download :

DVDShrink

DVD decriptor

I am hoping you have Nero if you dont try to download a free trial, you really dont even use it for what I am talking about it just makes it easier internaly.
You need to use DVDShrink to make the file size smaller, you can use that or you can use Nero to apply in to a DVD look in setting and approve it to shrink the disk. You will be happy with the results, I use this when I make dubs I Am fine with it.
Good luck

If the file size is larger than what you can store on the CD then if you have a DVD burner, you can burn it to a DVD. You can also use a program called Alcohol 120. This program will create a virtual drive and automatically mount the image to it, so there will be no need to burn it to a CD. Good luck with that and IM me if you don't have it, I think I might be able to help you out.

1) If you have a DVD recorder, use a blank DVD (not a CD).
2) Download and run DaemonTools http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/announcements.php
3) If you still want to burn it, use the Burn option on your program and select the drive created by DaemonTools as the Source drive.

DVDs are 2 gigs, CDs are 700 megs. You are using a CD thinking its a DVD.

You can try using something like PowerISO. Not only does this read .iso files it will also burn them for you.

EDIT: DVDShrink and DVD Decryptor are used for ripping DVD movies.. they do not have the ability to rip DVD Games and/or alter that kind of file.
