I also have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). It is sometimes very annoying, but you can learn to make peace with it.

Hmm...perhaps you have some kind of obsessive-compulsive disorder where your brain has been trained by your thoughts to do such things.
It's not technically a disease in the sense of infectious disease or even malignant (harmful) disease...however this 'disorder' may lead to cause inconveniences and further progression into what you or someone else might think seems a bit psychotic.
I would not recommend you start any form of drug therapy unless it is natural treatment for anxiety which may/may not work. Speak to your doctor about how to solve this behavioural problem without medication. It's usually as simple as identifying when you are doing it and stopping the action at that moment.

From what you say I do not think so? At 13 you are still exploring your environment and it could be you are just seeing if the object feels the same in one hand as it does in the other? Could be you are trying to simply figure out if you are right handed or left handed?

probobly isn't even a disease. When I touch something with one hand I have to touch it with the other and I don't think I have OCD (or whateva). Probobly just something to do. Best of luck.

I have to agree with the majority here. sounds like OCD. You should see a dr and they could possibly give you some medicine for it.

Perhaps it is an early form of OCD? Obsessive-compulsive disorder. Tell your mom. That's what she's there for.

OCD, however ...
you are young (magical thinking is common in children), and this could pass. Try to resist so it doesn't become a habit....... but the most important is don't worry about it.
