GM will not buy chrysler. at this point chrysler is losing money, and so is gm. gm cannot afford to take on more debt. So although i have heard the rumors just like you have, rest assured that has not, and will not, happen.

There are rumors that GM, which owns Chevrolet, is in the running to buy Chrysler, which owns Dodge, No purchase has happened - yet.

No they didn't. You obvioulsy don't get out much. Chrysler is currently in talks with several major overseas companies for a potential looming takeover along with GM.
