Order the fight! Mega-fights dont come around in boxing all the time. On paper Lewis-Tyson was a mega fight. That was five years ago. For the sake of boxing, everyone needs to order it because you never know when a fight of this magnitude will happen again.

The most popular fighter in the world against the most talented fighter in the world. That matchup doesnt happen everyday pal. Cherish it while its here.

There are tons of other meaningless PPV's that you can pass up in the near future and watch on HBO a week later. This one is just one you have to watch LIVE !!!

Why would anybody pay 54.99 to watch a couple of guys punch each other for about a half hour on TV? Their is no way paying that kind of money is worth it especially since you could watch the fight for free later on HBO! No wonder their are no boxing fans who would pay that kind of cash to watch anything on TV

I think that it's only worth ordering if you bet money on it. I got a $200 bet on the fight. I know that Oscar de La Hoya is gonna win. Minus the cost of the fight I stand to make $145. That's not bad for an evening of thrills and live gambling excitement in the privacy of your own home.

Melofan15, you are about to get hated on after making this statement "No wonder their are no boxing fans who would pay that kind of cash to watch anything on TV" I advise you to stay tuned afterward to verify the pay per view sales numbers of this EVENT. Yea you can watch it free the week after but, there's no fun in that, you cant get hyped anymore for this event. The whole point of paying the money is to get all your friends and family at your house and enjoy the event. However, as a boxing fan I dislike the price due to the undercard. I loved de la hoya fights with Mia St John, Butterbean, Erick Morales, in the undercard. Nowadays you are only paying for the main event.

It depends on how much of a fan you are and how much money you have to throw to the wind. I would be happy with going to a sports bar and see it for free but then I would probably spend close that on the beer and food anyway so it's up to you! HBO will have it for free soon.

It's a good buy. This kind of fight comes once in a lifetime and shouldn't be missed.

$55 you say? .......thats about £27.50, I'd say that's a fair price to watch it on PPV.
