According to my dad, there was a time when a person got hired, worked his way up in the company and retired with a tidy benefit package. Those days left and with it all mutual loyalty.
Now, you get hired, work until you make so much money, you are downsized right out of existence. Then too bad you fell short of collecting retirement because you had to leave before you were vested in the company.
Employers know what they're doing. You can no longer get ahead in the greed laden Mega Millionaire CEO companies who want the profits for themselves and screw the workers. Many company higher ups get paid as much as 100 times what their average worker makes in a year.
They have taken the idea from our own government where the Senators and Congressman vote themselves raises, fly for free, get hefty retirement packages including free health care for LIFE --- all on the backs of the hard-working middle class.
Hiring illegal Mexicans is the new American Slavery brought to you by every cost cutting company with fat cats running the show.

yes. Its the legal immigrants that are destroying the middle class more than the illegal. The illegal hurts those on the low end. When the companies started having all these megamergers, they got together and freeze their wages and then told the government they can't hire enough employees. Then they say we need to hire them out of the country. That way they keep the paychecks low and hire a group of people who are less likely to complain about work condition. Its happening in the Medical , engineering field and accounting field. The poor is doing their job to destroy the middle class too. They want a better lifestyle so they vote in politicians who offer more entitlement program. When they make these entitlement programs they need to increase tax, which hurt the middle class more than anyone else. I work in this place, which I was paid straight average pay. I was hated because I was "Rich". THey don't hate the millionaire owner nor others who make more, but me because I don't have the power to do anything for the silly games they play. Its usually the younger half of the poor who play games. The older generation seems on average more respectful.

i think of the top earnings communities do think of that the american midsection type has have been given it too good, and at their fee. Why else the rabble rousing against the union individuals? How dare they want a living salary, scientific care, pensions which will earnings them while they are previous? enormously while it comes out of the earnings that they elect to hoard. So deliver jobs to countries with slave hard artwork, greater earnings for them. Yahoo ran a piece of writing right this moment approximately how we are paying the comparable for a poorer high quality merchandise, so we can't be conscious their earnings margin is going up and we get much less. Slick huh?

Yes, but not only by hiring illegals.
They do so by trying to get away with as much as they can. They also exploit legal workers, you know. They oppose unions because they fight for workers rights. They have been known to bully employees that are trying to organize and establish a union in their company.
Did you see the Walmart movie?

No, we are employing! You'd rather I fire you for insubordination? Yes, I must make a profit in order to stay in business. And yes, I will pay my decision makers well. You'd rather I pay the toilet scrubber $100,000 a year for having little to no education and for making no major contributions towards guiding my business? How peverse (backwards).
The military has an old saying, you should familiarize yourself with it and then live by it. And that is simply this: RHIP (Rank Has Its Piviledges). Now, go earn it for yourselves and stop looking for handouts. We are non union. I take care of my employees and they take care of me. It's good for business.

So, the same question I find mself asking my kids. What part of this do you own? You vote in rep.s and presidents that force NAFTA and WHO down our throats and then complain that your jobs have gone overseas. You form labor unions that force the corporations to raise the prices of their products and services to cover the costs of the various entitlement packages: company sponsored and paid health care packages, longer vacations, astronomical pay increases. If you owned the busness and had to pay all of this out, and given the option, wouldn't you choose to send your scut work overseas wear union labor isn't an issue, costing you millions? You eat junk food like there's no tomorrow, you refuse to exercise, you drink, smoke and some even do illicit drugs and then sue everyone and his brother under the sun for your own poor choices and glutony. Everything has a price, but no one is willing to pay. They demand that someone else pick up the tab. Yes, there are those Enron jerks out there, but by and large, the majority do not operate on the premise of screwing everyone. I know I sure don't. Maybe that's why I owe so much to so many others...
