This a sad moment for all of us who are hard core aviation fanatics, best wishes goes to his family and to Lt. Cmdr. Kevin Davis will be remembered because he inspired us all.

needless to say you're a moron for bringing the oh-so-logical non secular argument into play. Flying severe overall performance fighter jets is inherently risky even in spite of the incontrovertible fact that Blue Angels pilots are between the main elite in the army. Many factors could have contributed to on the instant's tragedy, even something so trivial as a chook strike that may usually reason engine failure. RIP LCDR Davis.

As a huge aviation fanatic and an even bigger Blue Angels fan, I was devastated to hear that one of the brave pilots who so graciously risked his life to perform the breathtaking performances we all love has passed on in a crash. May LCDR Davis rest in peace and his family be consoled by knowing that he died a hero.

It is obvious that God did not bless him.

However, my hopes and thoughts do go to his family and friends!

Long live his memory.
