accepting that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who sacrificed His life to cleanse me and offere me the opportunity to succeed. success means living in Gods love in this life and the next. To Me it also means - a long hard road ahead of me that, while filled with trials and tribulations of trying to maintain a good, loving, charitable lifestyle is filled with the reward of knowing God's love.

Jesus is the way! Jesus took our sin upon Himself (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died in our place (Romans 5:8), taking the punishment that we deserve. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, proving His victory over sin and death (Romans 6:4-5). Why did He do it? Jesus answered that question Himself, "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13). Jesus died so that we could live. If we place our faith in Jesus, trusting His death as the payment for our sins - all of our sins are forgiven and washed away. We will then have our spiritual hunger satisfied. The lights will be turned on. We will have access to a fulfilling life. We will know our true best friend and good shepherd. We will know that we will have life after we die - a resurrected life in heaven for eternity with Jesus!

Saved means I have traded my sin record with Jesus sin record and have been filled with the Holy Spirit and found perfect in the eyes of God and my name written in the Lambs book of life!

Garrett,
No matter my belief. its your feelings that allow you to be saved. Your actions, deeds and belief in something greater than self. Living in a new light of awareness.

I pray that YOU know that deep love and empowerment of "being saved" and what it means to you. Its a life journey and you revisit that "Feeling" as you need too, its becomes a part of your heart and it feeds your lost soul in times of weakness.

No matter your religion, find that piece of Heaven and carry it in your heart. Blessed be to thee!

...It means I have rescued from the prisonhouse of sin by the Lord Jesus Christ - He has bought me back and borne the wrath of God for me - I am saved, rescued, redeemed to the uttermost, and I can never lose it.
...For the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.
(Romans 11:29).
...BTW, the "Good Doctor", who is not much good, has been reported.

It means being liberated from many horrible things which make our lives meaningless and difficult: our own obsessions and addictions, our fear of death, and even in a higher sphere, from evil forces.

Jesus did it for us.

"Saved" to me simply means:

I saved from what my sinful nature deserves, all thanks to Jesus dying on the cross (and then ressurecting - defeating death)...

It is possible not only because I believe He's my Savior, but because I "CHOOSE" to accept the gift of Salvation; which is offered to all (However, ALL don't accept it...)

Lots of people believe Jesus is who he says he is, yet they don't believe they're in need of SALVATION --- therefor, it's not theirs.

Are you "saved"?
