Did you get a lemon (which is possible with any make) or are you trying to start a debate?

I would like to see your evidence b/c I have owned 4 (new) Toyota's since 1998 and put many, many, many miles on all of them and they were all excellent vehicles.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but us proud Toyota owners get a lot of laughs while we drive around and see the other cars broken down on the side of the road. We know we're the smart drivers, LOL!

Toyota has the best reliability factors of any nameplate - In Fact - I think your questions is to see how many people argue the point.

Because reality is... Everyone know Toyota has the ones of the best reliability records going...

And that is the fact - Take away all the other politically motivated reasons as why not to buy a Toyota and your left with common sense... Come to think of it... add back all that politics... and your back at the same answer...

Toyota - a small car company a few years ago... is going to surpass all the others... why? Because of their products and reliability history....

Toyota employs more people in America than you may even guess at... Many of the parts and products have more American content - than those you may call domestic....

So be wise... and choose a car company the rest of the worlds population is choosing... unless you know something no-one else does?

and that's' the facts...

they could final , yet at a value, and a intense cost at that. I had a Toyota pickup which rusted out interior of a pair of years, then had countless costly mechanical maintenance. It lasted over 200,000 kms, yet develop into not likely roadworthy after a hundred and fifty,000. countless pals have had a matching journey: very costly and regularly occurring maintenance to maintain their Toyotas going. so which you're able to desire to element the greater restore expenditures into their longevity, besides because of the fact the top type purchase cost, greater financing costs than different vehicle makers, besides as greater costly ordinary factors and repair costs. in case you placed as plenty money in to different makes as you do into Toyotas, they could final as long too.

Toyota is one of the most reliable and long-lasting brands. Of course there can be individual exceptions. So, why do you ask? Did you have one of the exceptions?

I heard Toyota vehicles come with a 300 thousand mile warranty.......So if they don't last long they should be covered.

I've owned only 5 Toyota's with over 300k on them. They ran like new, just some exterior/interior use. I only sold them because I needed a different car. Trust me, I have a friend who is one of those traveling salesman, he drives on '04 4Runner, he already has 130k on it. lol.

Toyotas are well made, reliable cars. No matter how well made a car is though, if you don't maintain it, it wont last.

They dont last because those so called reliabilty stats are a japanese lie to try and close down competetors. Ever try puting reliability stats on a new car? Japanese manufacturers have been recalling all sorts of stuff and I have been told from numerous references that their quality is on a hard downhill slope. Im suprised that people cant belive what you are asking, but its those type of commercial watchers that those companys love because people dont know any better.
If their prouduct is so great, then why aren't we using their ideas ? We have the access and capability of doing it, but it all comes down to us knowing more than them and trying to tell people that their is more to a good car than bullcrap and hearsay.
