started as a sharp pain, now just annoying and constantly there. No constipation, no change in bowel habits, clear urine, no temperature.

A constant pain is your body's way of saying there is a problem. Obviously you have none of the normal conditions associated with iliac fossa pain. I'll make Two recommendations.

Have an examination with your medical doctor. Make sure there is nothing further going on.

I recommend you see a chiropractor because they specialize in this type of pain. I've enclosed a link were you can find a chiropractor in your area.

I don't know the answer to your question, but try going to a CranioSacral Therapist.
