All religions suffer from the same delusion. I find Christians of all types to be supremely arrogant in their sense of entitlement, and belief that the rest of us need to be saved from THEIR guilt trip.

Prefer?
Well I'm a former Protestant so I identify best with them. I've studied Catholicism somewhat and just didn't like the idea of confessions, and saints. But Catholics as people are just fine of course! :)

I often avoid talking religion with new acquaintances so often I do not know the orientation of people I have talked to; that would make it tough to guess the orientation of people I like or dislike.
I usually claim to be agnostic to avoid getting in too deep with a stranger (unless I am in the mood for it).
I like that Catholics have more festivals and feasts. Many people of all denominations have forgotten the importance of treating friends and family to feasts in the honor of gathering.
I like that Protestants founded the US (in part at least) and instilled the importance of literacy as a basic moral of our state.

Same difference to me... I don't prefer one to the other. But if I had to choose I'd say Protestant because of the scandals with Catholic priests sexually abusing children and the Church's cover up.

There about equal. When I bite the heads off the babys I think the protestants are a little more tender.

You get nice and not-so-nice people in all groups. I have friends who are atheist, Catholic, Protestant, Buddhist and even Jehovah's witness.
I'm a Protestant.

As a non-Christian, I do not know the difference between these two. Honestly. As far as my preferences go, religion is not a factor in choosing friends or team. Neither is color, race, background for that matter.

The Catholics I know tend to be more thoughtful and educated about their beliefs. They also tend not to get sucked into the anti-science nonsense.
