2 Peter 3:3 For YOU know this first, that in the last days there will come ridiculers with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires 4 and saying: “Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep [in death], all things are continuing exactly as from creation’s beginning.”
5 For, according to their wish, this fact escapes their notice, that there were heavens from of old and an earth standing compactly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God; 6 and by those [means] the world of that time suffered destruction when it was deluged with water. 7 But by the same word the heavens and the earth that are now are stored up for fire and are being reserved to the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly men.
Think I'll use it as a pillow after reading this..

Singing it.
Go downtown and get on a good comfortable street corner, and start in Genesis, and sing from the Bible every day, assuming you have a good voice.
Get a musical friend to provide the melodies, and you follow along with the lyrics, verbatim from the Bible.
Wear a light blue robe, a straw hat, and bring a lawn chair.

Some of the answers I read to this question make me so sad. There are so many lost souls in the world today. The Bible is our roadmap for our journey here in this life. The Bible has the answer to every problem or question that you will ever have in this life. May you see its true worth. God bless each of you.

The blueprint for life that is in the Bible is something that is innate to everyone good. Even most atheists have a desire to do good and right, they just don't mention God or the Bible being the reason.

Absolutely. Live by what you read. Ask yourself as you read, "How does this apply to me? To my life?" In other words, learn from it.

BC - Great Question! Give it away, to someone who doesn't have one. That is, indeed, a better use. Thank you.
