Well this is the beauty of the Episcopal Church, you really have to go some before you are Excommunicated.... Oh.. wait... we have never excommunicated anyone. We take in all of those that the Roman Catholics do excommunicate like Matthew Fox. Ah.. well. He is a heretic.. but he is our heretic.. what else can I say. Except that I do agree the the person directly above me. Those 2 points are good.

11. The hope for life after death must be separated forever from the behavior control mentality of reward and punishment. The Church must abandon, therefore, its reliance on guilt as a motivator of behavior.

12. All human beings bear God's image and must be respected for what each person is. Therefore, no external description of one's being, whether based on race, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation, can properly be used as the basis for either rejection or discrimination.

Those are my favorite of his points!!!

Spong is one of the greatest heretics of modern times.

It's actually a miracle that one guy could get all that stuff wrong at the same time.

And a BISHOP, too!

The Pharisees would be proud of him.
