I feel that certain deities actively recruit worshipers. You don't pick the God they pick you.

I'm not sure who my patron deity is, sometimes it needs someone else to notice things about you. There is no doubt at all that my husband's patron deity is Bachus. What's ironic about that is he is a recovering alcoholic. But there is no doubt at all that Bachus is his patron. I was the one that picked up on that Bachus was his patron, it just really fits him, and once I spoke it, everybody was like "oooh, yeah...." But I have not "clicked " with respect to a particular deity as yet, and generally refer to them as the Goddess and God, but sometimes will pick a deity for a specific situation....

For me, its a mutual thing, but the initial choice is on the part of the deity, that is, they choose me, then I can choose whether or not to accept.

Tricky question! Most probably chose theirs! Me I'd have to say Dianna shined on me one night, inspired me, but I didn't settle there I needed more answers (ha), now I ponder God, But Dianna will forever be in my heart! why do you ask?

Idont know. I just put mine in a general perspective as the God and Goddesss. Then I use the specific one for other purposes!

I don't know.... I'm not a pagan.... I'm a Christian and I know that God chose me before I was concieved..... there is a place in His heart for EVERONE.
