I am writing my own high school graduation invitations (and announcements for those space will not allow me to invite.) What is the proper way to write these? I am "homeschooled" but am still participating in a graduation ceremony...Help!!

First take a look at these links, they have sample graduation announcements and invitations for your review. You'll be able to get a good idea of what you want yours to say by reading them:

http://www.mygatsby.com/invitations/etiquette/
http://graduation.invitations4less.com/SampleWording.asp

The second link I think is the best, you'll find a lot of good etiquette information there.

I think you'll want to incorporate something personal and unique to you in the announcement/invitation, that will make it a keepsake and something special that folks will want to hold on. Consider your interests and what you'd like people to remember about this time in your life.
I hope this helps, and congratulations on your graduation!

Yes, send the announcements and the invitations together. You have to clarify if the person is invited to attend the graduation ceremony as well (only if they are). Otherwise people may be confused about what their obligation is. An announcement is just that, no obligation on the receiver's part. The invitation to the party is separate and as long as you include an RSVP you shouldn't have a problem.
