Depends. A muslim woman or a muslim man? I'd rather hang out with a muslim woman, personally. I think it would be interesting to hear about how she goes about her daily life.

A meaningless question to a true Atheist, O angel of death.
I suppose I'd hang out with any true Christian or Muslim with whom
I could discuss religious / moral concepts with an equal
respect of each others different viewpoints.
And I do know Muslims for I step into a cultural tea house sometimes
for a quiet cup of coffee in the afternoon, I promised to come
back this week for some poetry of Hafiz which they only had
in Arabic and I can't read that.
It's sometimes just difficult because the cultures clash quite
a lot, I've stayed with Iranian Shiites, Gambian Sunni's,
Turkish Sunni's, Moroccan Sunni's and their interpretations
of Islam and it's all different. There is no standard Muslim.
But I'll refuse to hang with any Muslim or Christian who would
try to convert me and starts proselytizing, that I would consider
extremely insulting.
My guess is you're a Sunni yourself, the Shia has problems
with Azrael as a false Jewish invention and a Christian (USA)
would not word the question the way you did, if ask at all ?.
Thanks I liked the question.

Well I hang out with a Christian everyday - I live with one. So a Muslim, I guess. I have a Qur'an and have read some of it (about 1/3 so far) and would like to know more about them as people. Even though I'm atheist, I think it's important to know about all religions.

A Christian. At least he won't try to kill me for being an infidel. The Christian is satisfied with letting me live and "knowing" what's in store for me after my departure from the living. Mind you, this was not so just a few hundred years ago, where they were still able to burn people alive for heresy. Thank god (pun intended) we have a legal system nowadays. The Muslims need to catch up a bit in that regard. This is basically what Bush was trying to do with Iraq. Let's just say he was a tad premature in his efforts.

A Christian, because while the Crusades have been over for centuries, the Jihad is still going on.

Yes, I realize most Muslims aren't violent, but the simple truth of the matter is you never see Christian extremist terrorists, do you? It's simple numbers, here.

Probably Muslim, since their culture is quite complex and interesting. Plus there's to many Christians around to make them interesting(the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence).

I'm not exactly atheist, more like agnostic, but I think it depends more on the person than their religion. If someone tries to "convert" me, I'm irritated no matter what the religion. Anyone who doesn't try to force their beliefs down my throat is fine by me, whatever their beliefs happen to be. (Barring anything like child sacrifice, of course.)

Who ever I would like better as a person.

I like Christianity better then Islam. If that's your point.

A Christian.

Better chance of living after I disagree with them.

Kaffirism. The ambivalent choice.

I'd prefer to hang out with whichever one won't try to jam their beliefs down my throat.
