Why does Religious types reject Aliens as fantasy that is totally absurb, yet have full faith in a book that is just a book?
God has lived for ever and will live forever more, he exists in a space with no limits in every direction( totally mind boggleing big) yet all he is interested in is this little dust particle circleing this little yellow burning orb. For reasons known only to man he has never created life on any other planet, nor will he ever do it!
I believe there is a god, but I can't bring myself to believe in all of space he doesn't have more children!
So he didn't mention them in the bible, so what, He is God so he does as he wills, not as some men thinks he should!

Science also rejects aliens. It is true SETI is listening but so far the evidence and the probabilities for the existence of aliens is null. Maybe if a wormhole pops up...
**I should say that I would be one of the people who would be overjoyed at the idea of being able to travel through space and explore beyond the speed of light. I think the existence of aliens would be exciting. So far we haven't been able to find anything that leads to that. The fact that earth is so unusual and unique is one of the miracles of the universe.

Why do religious types reject Aliens and have full faith in the bible....same reason. Religion has taught that the Bible is the only "truth". The Bible does not have any recorded episodes of "other" life. If the Bible stated that the Oceans were sinful and that man should not wade, sail,etc. then all "religious types" would still be in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The US would still be only inhabited by Native Americans and other "pagans" (those who dared sail the seas).
Faith----FIRM belief in something for which there is NO proof. That's not arguable!

This universe was created so that man could colonize it, Adam and Eve were to be the progenitors of that colonization, if they had not sinned and fallen from grace then they and ther descendants would be throughout the universe today, God contained sin to this world so that it would be dealt with here and not spread its cancerous touch throughout the universe. It is being dealt with here and when its evil consequences have been contained then mankind will be allowed to venture forth into the vastness of space, but not until then. space and eternity go on forever and theres plenty of room for the human family(free from sin) to grow and expand ever onward and outward,no over population and dwindling resources, just infinite developement

Because most pastors /preachers dont want to deal with the fact that aliens are real. They are the fallen angels but try explaining that to the congregation and you probally wont have a congregation and then you might have to find another job if you dont have a real one on the side already for back up.

I believe they are evil angels with a mission to confuse people. I also believe satan is using a multitude of plans to induce confusion just before Jesus comes back.
