WHY can't non believers just over look Gods name and move on to something they do believe in? Why do non believers always put their two cents in and some attack?

Because they like to give us Christians a hard time... And I'm sure they're afraid we'll shove our religion down their throat...

From their perspective you are trying to ram your beliefs down their throats and when they protest you claim they are attacking you. Honestly, they have a point, you're all behaving like spoiled 5-year-old children throwing a tantrum when you don't get your way.

In a free society where we are all equal, if I don't believe in God, or I don't share YOUR beliefs about God, why should your beliefs have precedence over mine? If they do, then we are not equal.

What happens if in Michigan, for example, where some towns and counties have Muslim majorities, they decide to pass laws putting banners on the courts that say "Praise Allah" or require Muslim prayers be held in public schools? Is that fair to the Christians living there? The only way to guarantee that all religions are treated fairly and equally is to make sure that none of them have their ideals pushed on the rest of society.

I'm not sure what you're asking. But I don't get offended when people talk about God. I get offended when people use God as an explination or a reason for something. When I discuss things with religious people I generally want a response past "God said so" or "because God wants/made it that way".

I generally feel I am attacked by religious nuts when they tell me I am going to Hell and they insult me. I don't insult others beliefs and I try to respect opinions.

What importance does the name of God have? Like any other it's a combination of letters with a meaning and many of u don't even know what the real name is nor do u pronouce it correctly.

Get over it.

I asked the same question in a different way, telling people who do it as those with "empty" lives. Many got angry and defended why they do it. My opinion? To many "empty" lives who can't find anything constructive to do except act "celestially" ignorant, being on a a section FOR those of faith proves it by their questions and their answers.......

Possibly because the way people do so is similar in effect to blasting a radio in their face, as they are given no option to be left to their own lives.

Non-beleivers lack respect to a large degree.
Ridicule comes easy to most.
Plus, they enjoy differing with everything that is said, otherwise they start becoming believers.
