Well, Lean Cuisine and Smart Ones are better for you than, say, Stouffers. Read the packages for calories, fat, etc. Personally, I really prefer Lean Cuisine. Much better taste and veggies seem more plentiful and fresh. Weight Watchers has good frozen food, too.

There is a lot of sodium in these so-called healthy frozen meals. A fresh salad or a low cal sub at Subway would actually be better. However, occasionally using a Lean Crusine, Smart Ones, or Healthy Choice meal for a change can't hurt.

Does your body really need sodium lactate, sugar, sodium phosphate, lactic acid, ascorbic acid, corn syrup solids, carob bean gum, guar gum, xanthan gum...? Do you even know what these things are?

Also, they don't even use MEAT, they use "seasoned cooked beef product " which is some gross thing made up of beef, water, dextrose, soybean oil, modified cornstarch, potassium chloride, salt, potassium and sodium phosphates, caramel color, natural flavors.

Have a steak and some fresh salad witt salt & pepper if you want to be healty.

They are very good for retraining your appetite for portion control. They are low in fat, and they usually have plenty of vegetables. I don't think it would be good to eat them for a long time because of the high sodium content. Home-cooked meals with similar foods in them would be better in the long run. They are still a lot better than most convenience foods and they should be fine to use occasionally for a quick meal.

Both are very low in calories and the portions are pretty small. They'll definitely help you to lose weight if you only eat one portion during your meal time.

Both, I believe, contain no preservatives, so they should be healthy.
