What would you do about an abusive man that you really love but he's hurting you more than loving you?

Get myself out of there. My love would do no one good if I was too sick or dead.
Once I was out of there, I'd try to get him help if I loved him that much, but hopefully by then I'd have realized that he doesn't deserve me.

Having been married to a man that turned into an abusive non-functioning alcoholic I had tried to stay by his side as long as i could. The unfortunate thing is I only hurt my daughter and myself further my staying as long as i did.
Love should never hurt. He should be willing to change and seek help if he loved you back. If he is not willing to do that walk away.

The question is do he love you. you don't hurt the people u love. so if he loved u, he woudn't hurt u. Think of it that way. But i thnk u should leave that man alone. seems like he doesn't have himself together if he gots to beat all up on a woman. He just scared to hit a man. But u need to get out that stuation alive. WHat I woudl do to an abussive man would I would give him the beating that he deserve for been abusive to women. I would also put his butt in jail where he belongs. You shoudl put up with him. ANd you say you love him but why love someone who abuses you. Never could figure that out about women. I would drop him liek a hot potatoe and move on.

im sure you already know the answer to your ? but you have to find the curage to let go trust me i was on the receiving end of an abusive relationship and it took alot for me to let go it's hard to when you love someone deeply but ive lerned the hard way that almost never can you change an abusive relationship into somthin good you have to think of your happiness does the damage outweigh the good in the relationship are you moretimes sad and hurt or worried then happy? you are the answser to your own ? and trust me never believe theres no one else out there, someone told me one time, if you find your way to the surfice there's always another sail on the horizon. take care i hope it work out for you

If he is hurting you, then he really doesn't love you at all, he just wants to use you for his own gratification. You should make plans with a trusted friend, make sure you have all the paperwork you need (birth certificates, SS cards, etc, as much cash as you can get and your personal belongings and LEAVE as soon as possible.

Find a family violence shelter wher you can get protection and assistance with starting a new life.

Well first off I would tell him how you feel. But if he is physically hurting you, you need to get out now. Love should not hurt physically. Sorry I know that must hurt to love someone that isn't loving you back, so you need to resolve this fast before it gets worse.

Get out of it ASAP, b4 he really hurts you are worse kills you. I was in an abusive relationship and I had to get out b/c it came down to my life or his and I love life to much and my kids to let someone kill me over something stupid.

If you love him and he abuses you then he doesn't love you back so don't waste your time and breakup with him.If he threatens you when you leave him then get a restraining order against him.
