I have gone on this diet/Exercise plan and have gone from 147 down to 127 and I'm ecstatic to say the least (I'm a short person of 5'4") I don't want to lose anymore weight, but ever since I've started (last Sept). The results are great, but now I notice that I have a small spare tire around my waist and I can't get rid of it, Why haven't I lost weight there? and how do i get rid of it?

exercises like with a hula hoop and stretching the waist by going from side to side might help but congratulations on your loss of weight...that weight loss should have decreased the middle, but if it hasn't and the tire is large and worrysome then maybe you need a tummy tuck. Keep trying to exercise that part of you, give it some time, maybe you can avoid the tummy tuck. Could your posture be encouraging the tummy? Try swimming, hanging on trapeze bars and bicycle riding.

just curious, but how did you lose the weight? i'm 146 lbs right now on a 5 foot 1 inch frame (and that inch is pushing it lol!) i want to weigh about 125, and i just started weight watchers. what did you do, and how long did it take you, if you don't mind me being nosy, LOL! as for the extra weight around your waist, try doing exercises that concentrate on your legs and abdomen.if you aren't walking right now, start. if you are 45 or older, you may find it nearly impossible to remove weight there, but it can be done with some extra effort. good luck!

Start off with the basics.
1. Proper Diet
2. Exercise Daily (30 minutes)
3. Use Motivators when slacking (ex: Buy yourself a gift when you reach a new exercise milestone or whe you pass on dessert)

its just one part of your body it likes to keep its fat reserves - we cant choose which body part to lose the weight off.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

Liposuction(Dont recommend it) Crunches frog squats or eating healthy make sure u are running every day and streching every day so u can work all around the fat...u will also need to use a medicine ball for early morning workouts right before u run
