where is the easiest location to run an amplifier power cable through my firewall on a 2000 Focus se?

If your Focus is an automatic, you should be able to find a small plastic insert where the clutch mechanism would go through the firewall on a standard transmission. You can easily remove this piece and drill a hole through it for the power wire.

wherever you see a rubber grommet, and away from the exhaust side of the engine.
