Yes, God can create His own limitations, which He does from time to time. (Like promises He is incapable of breaking, because that would go against His good nature.) This does not mean God cannot be all powerful, because performing logical impossibilities (limiting and breaking His own limitations) is not something that is within the bounds of power itself. For instance, if I asked a the strongest man in the world to bend a mettle bar into a square, the man might possibly do that, but if I asked him to bend it into a circle square, that is impossible and has nothing to do with the ability of power.

You are first assuming that God can just do anything. That is incorrect because we know that God cannot lie, steal, cheat, sin, because he is perfect. Neither can he lift a stone that is too heavy for him because it is a contradiction to his omnipotence (being all powerful).

Allah tells us that "Allah is capable of doing anything that He Wills to do." He can make a rock (or anything for that matter) that is so large or heavy that nothing in the entire universe can move it. As regards Allah "moving" it, He is not in the universe and He does not resemble His creation. Whenever He wants anything done, Be! And so it will be!

Jcioos has the right answer, but i think you meant to say 'neither can he CREATE a stone that he cant lift...' not, 'neither can he LIFT a stone...' must have been a typo.

No Peter, this would be against His perfect understanding of Himself and would not be sensible and God cannot be anything but sensible.
