I am quite often disgusted with some poster's attitudes.
Bigotry, intolerance, and hatred are pretty disgusting.
I want to tell them off but realize people like that won't listen anyhow.

I put on an armor of God around me, and no evil can penetrate. : )
I ignore the disgusting stuff, but once in a while I give my answer to them too. I never curse anyone. Not even people who like to write hate mail to others. I think that is low to harass people.
I wish we all would follow the community guidelines though. This column would be a better place. : )

No, I don't feel sick or disgusted with some of these people. I do feel sad though for those who mistakenly take scripture out of context to suit their own beliefs. We know that that's been going on for ages though. I don't curse at them. That's counterproductive! It makes no sense at all to put people down for their beliefs whether we feel they're wrong or not.
Personally, if I knew the answer to their question I will answer it fully and with scriptures in their context, otherwise I'll just leave it alone. As for other answerer's I'll put a thumbs down on vulgarity and unnecessary chastisement.
I do remember to pray for them and for the Lord to enlighten them with the Truth.

Some of the bigotry, racism, and stereotyping is pretty bad...usually, I just let it roll off my back. Once I got an email that was pretty irritating. I tried to respond with positiveness, love, and rationality. I did not hear back, so, I don't know how the note was taken. I care about alternative viewpoints and want to learn as much as possible both from people I agree with and people I don't agree with....because, I'm certainly not perfect, either.

Once I log off, in all honesty I don't give it much thought. If you let the ones who disgust you bother you to the point that it preys on your mind once you log off, you're better off not being here. I don't really get disgusted very often anyway - mostly I just get a little sad at the way some people are.

I try my best to ignore the hateful ones. I will not give the Devil his dues!( That is a very old saying)
If we show how it hurts or angers us it will just give them pleasure. I pray for them. You can't tell them that though because they do not have the same mind frame we have. We know when someone says I'll pray for you that is one of the kindest things a person can say. They however think it is an insult. So I don't tell them I am praying for them. I just do it!

I find myself that way with their questions or attitudes. When I answer someone i'm not asking them to believe my way of thinking i'm simply giving what I believe to be a good answer. But people get on here and try to purposfully hurt someone or offend someone and that's just not right. I don't curse them becuase then i'm falling into their trap and doing exactly what they want which is get a reaction. I do pray for them and hope that they see how childish, rude and ridiculous their being.

I do wonder at the state of mind some ppl have.
Often I'm glad I'm sitting in front of a computer as actually being face to face with some of them would freak me out.

If i have a hard time understanding the thought patterns of certain people. I remember that one man e-mailed me and said I needed to stop using scripture in my answer. I said I would if he would start living by some moral code. Logic is available to those who seek.
