Well I am facing a problem with my mom.Whenever she sees me watching televisyen at midnight during the weekend and she knows that i don't work on weekends and I usually stay up late to watch my favorite programme but she always nags at me like switch off and sleep but when during the day I sit and watch televisyen she will come and change the channel and would see her favorite programme but when turn the channel she will yell or nags at me is iti wrong of me watching the televisyen during the midnight or the morning day on weekends? Please tell me when is the suitable time. She usually watch durin g the day till night at 10.00 p.m. her favorite programme what is the best way to solve this...... thanks and regards

As the saying goes, as long as you live in her house, you have to live by her rules. (Personally, I think it's the way parents insure their kids move out as soon as possible.) Spend more time visiting friends who watch the same tv shows you do who have parents who let them watch what they like when they want to. Midnight is a little late to be up watching tv, especially since you do still live at home. You can try discussing this problem with your mom, write up a schedule of the tv shows you absolutely have to watch every day each week and see if she'll agree to allowing you to watch them. If you and she only have the one tv, you'll probably have to give up some of your shows so she can watch hers. Or quit watching tv.

Do what your mother tells you to do. After all, it's her house, her television, and she pays for the electricity that runs the tv.
Try something else too, instead of spending the weekends laying around watching television, you might try doing some chores, READING books (that could also improve your spelling), and other constructive activities.

most of the programming that is on late at night is adult stuff like porn so she doesn't probably want you watching anything inapproprite at night.and for as during the day some parents don't feel tv is the most educational thing for children to be watching anyway

Well, it's your moms tv and you didn't say how old you were. If you're 18 get your own tv and put it in your room.
