foodnetwork.com. They also rate if the recipes are easy and rate how those who've tried them like them. Great website.

Go to www.cooks.com and have a look around. Type a favorite food or ingredient into the search box and it'll give you plenty of recipes with that in it. These are all submitted by people who use them, so they work well. Most have very good instructions.
I, too, would recommend a good cookbook. Go to a used bookstore that has a cookbook section. Look around for one that's been well-used -- not mistreated or neglected, but just well-used. You can tell if you look. That's probably a good cookbook. You can then look for a nice clean copy of the same book, if you like.

I like epicurious.com. Do the advanced search and just put in your main ingredient and it'll spit back recipes and you can decide what to try. Some of those are harder, and some are really easy.
Remember to just try. If you screw something up, don't get discouraged. Every good cook was a bad cook at some point. He**, I still screw things up, it's a matter of learning from mistakes. Don't give up, man!

Buy a descent cookbook like Joy of cooking- or a health food one that lists food values etc. Do you realize what a pain in the butt it is to go to the computer each time you want to cook? A book you can take anywhere and it'll give you inspiration.
