See if you can find something like "Beeren Aslace". It's a white, and tastes like a nice sweet grapefruit thing. It's the only sweet wine I like, even though I don't think I'm spelling it right.

If you want a white wine that is only slightly sweet, try a Riesling. However, if you want more sweetness than that, start with a Late Harvest and then progress to Icewine. Somewhere along the line you will find wines that you enjoy.

How sweet do you want it?. There are some dessert wines that are cordial like Muscato. For an known wine the sweetest blend is cab sav blonk (pronunciation help no longer spelling mistake). something labelled Riesling (reez-ling) ought to also be sturdy.

Find a decent off licence, not one of the major chains, and buy a half bottle of dessert wine-muscat is a good choice, chill it if you so desire and then enjoy the experience of a top quality wine not made for the 'chav' market.
