most people will say the lion, but that's not what it is. nowhere in the bible does it say that the lion and lamb will lie down together. the bible says the wolf will lay down with the lamb, and there are two verses in isaiah that talk about it. Isaiah 11:6, and Isaiah 65:25. so WOLF is the word that fits into the blank above!

Actually, it is different in the text.

"The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them." (Isaiah 11:6)
