So i like this guy and i want to call him but i get nervous because i have no idea what to talk about and when i do call people there is always an awkward silence...what should i talk to *j* about on the phone that would get rid of the awkward silence so i dont feel weird.... PLEASE HELP!

So do you watch this show for example College Hill I like Willie Macc off of College Hill why do you like them silly girls on there joke with it did you watch this show have you ever been with a girl that does this or that make sure you allow him to get some words in...Smile and make sure you make him wonder what you are going to say or do next make him love you girl...

I think your problem is that you're trying so hard to say the right things and bring up the right topics so your conversation will be interesting and and so he might be more interested in you. You need to be your goofy self. You just gotta talk. There are no magic words or conversation topics. Being silly and goofy and in your comfort zone will strike all the necessary material. Silence gaps will still be there, but fill them up by making fun of those silence gaps. "Why do we keep on stopping randomly; I don't get it?!" Heck, a conversation can very well start up on why you keep not knowing what to say in the middle of a conversation. Then you'll end up going off on tangents and end up talking about how Barney was your inspiration for wearing purple. You just never know, and that's the fun of it. Ask about school, work, what does he like, and all those stuff. Also remember to tell him about yourself as well so that the conversation can keep going. If it gets awkward, just tell him you'll call him back later so you have time to think about what to talk about again, and there will be no awkward silence! =) lol

Hey, ok first u should wait like mayb three days to call him just so u wont b needy. Everyday if i knoww im going to be talkin to the 1 i like i right everything down on paper first. I 2 h8 awkward silence and writing things down tht happened on ur day will keep tht away. Talk about likes and dislikes, sports, ppl in skool, on tv, family, relationships. dnt jump to fast 4 relationship cuz then he'll know right away. wen u read this and say ok likes and dislikes u may think ok thts ez, then on the fone ur gonna b like omg like wht. U have 2 b specific wen it comes to thoses kinda things like say u may like going to the beach u gotta say y u like it have some details so the conversation is long. :) goog luck babe

write a list of stuff down before you get on the phone so you have something for back up
talk about
music, songs, music videos that are kool, dvds/movies , if your at school together talk about teachers you like n dislike, talk about what foods you both like, where you like to go when you eat out, books , magazines, places in travel, find out stuff he likes re boys stuff, then get on the internet and look hes stuff up so your taking interest and familiarising yourself with his itnerests example: skatebaording, surfing, moto bike riding

Have something to talk about before you call to break the ice.
then get into a conversation about what he did at school or work. Let it led into learning more about him and when he asks about you, you can tell him.

ask about his family, pets, favorite tv shows, etc. keep him talking and put in your own opinoin too.
