LOL I find this question so very funny. You are concerned that your rat could get sick from you smoking and yet your own lungs,heart, throat, tongue etc are not a concern for you. Why not try to not smoke and then you and your rat will live a long full life.

Smoking is bad for anyone or any living thing.

Quit and you will be happier, and richer. Cigs are expensive.

pets can and do get all the same problems humans get from second hand smoke.

any living creature, will be affected by second hand cigaret smoke..what do you think reserchers used to test the affect of second hand smoke on??? Lab rats..i believe if not mistaken, they died
