It has only been a couple of months since I have gotten my license. I live in Hawaii and I am 16 and I just got into an accident. I was turning a right and I thought the man in front of me already turned so I was inching forward trying to see if there was an opening and I hit the car in front of my. The right front light of my car was smashed. The car in front of me did not have dents, but his reflector fell off of the back. I am so scared my license will be revoked because of this.

Did you get a ticket? If so, the judge will let you know on your court date.

Yeah, being sixteen, you will likely lose your license until you turn 18. Check out the website for the DMV in Hawaii, it should tell you the penalties while on a provisional license, if not there, it would be in the manuel. Good luck.

With the provisional license, do you need an adult in the car with you while you are driving or may you drive by yourself but only during certain hours? I doubt if they will take away your license, but your dad might. good luck.

best source for the correct answer would be your local DMV (department of motor vehicles).
