Take him to the vet ASAP! he needs meds and eye drops. If you wait too long he can go blind

you can clean his eye with a warm cloth.. If you have any erythromycin ( sp)... put that in his eye... pull the lower lid down and apply there... ( its the exact same medicine for humans.. so see if you have any around)
If not, you can ask the vet for this medicine.. It would be good to take the dog.. just to make sure that it is conjunctivitis...
also... its very contagious to humans and other animals.. so wash your hands after wiping his eye out and after applying the medicine.

Keep his eyes clean with a soft warm cloth. WASH your hands afterwards. This is going to call for a vet visit and antibiotics to clear it up, but possibly you can keep him comfortable until Monday. Extremely contagious as a rule; not something to do at home.

And why would you want to treat him at home and risk making things worse when there are people who are trained and experienced in making diagnoses and giving you the correct treatment?

VETS.

Bring him to the vet, he may have intropian, where the eyelids are forced inwards...kinda curl in. To sooth it in the meanwhile, try a warm washclothe compress.
