Now first read this: - Whoever threatens another with any injury to his person, reputation or property, or to the person or reputation of any one in whom that person is interested, with intent to cause alarm to that person, or to cause that person to do any act which he is not legally bound to do, or to omit to do any act which that person is legally entitled to do, as the means of avoiding the execution of such threat, commits criminal intimidation.
This fellow has been harassing you & making you to go out with him even on your refusal but still he continues all this don't you think he is committing criminal intimidation as defined above? If you think he is then this man can be charged for Criminal Intimidation under section 506 of the Indian Penal Code. So what for you are waiting make a complaint against him for criminal intimidation under section 506 IPC. But mind you this man is crazy for you & I feel loves you so give a second thought to this too!

Yes sexual harrassment is basically defined as being a person is made to feel uncomfortable or that their safety is in jeopardy, or that their good name will be made bad, etc. So yeah that is a form of sexual harassment, but its more on the lines of harassment than anything, this should be taken to the manager of your job, if nothing is still done, then its time to call the police. This way the guy can be told to leave her alone. This always works. Just incase you werent already laughing I was joking about all the listed remedies for dealing with the guy.
The best way to solve this is by getting someone to beat the hell out of him, teach him a lesson, break his jaw or mess up his face a little. Do whatever you feel is necessary, but you should never leave it up to the police, they dont do ****.

The situation that you refer to is not legally defined as "sexual Harassment" ; sexual harassment is a business offense, not a criminal one. In IL, criminal offenses related to the senario you presented could be; disorderly conduct, harassment by telephone, and go all the way up to stalking. If this is happening at school the victim should discuss this with a counselor or a dean.

If the lady feels uncomfortable, irritated, and frightened then she needs to tell him to stop. If she has already told him and he won't stop then I would say yes it is sexual harassment. If she has explained to him that she does not like and and would like him to stop and he keeps pursuing and she feels frightened then maybe she should considering staying away from him, but if she is afraid for her safety then she should call the police. Hope this helps.

unless the male is in a position of authority, it would not be considered sexual harassment. it is, however, harassment of some sort. if it really bothers her enough, she can file for a protective order against the male. otherwise, she just needs to make it perfectly clear that it isn't to happen and stay away from the male.

If your in the U.S. it could be, it definately is harassment and that is a crime. Have her or her parents get with the police and seek there guidance and go from there. In the mean time use the buddy system when going places she should not be in public by herself always with family or friends just in case.

Yes, it is sexual harassment, especially when he told her that they will go out secretly and no one will come to know about it. Clearly, this guy's intention was sexual.

Its harrassment of some kind. If she has the money, get a lawyer to send him a letter to stop harrassing his client or legal action will be taken. If it is that serious and affects her greatly and she does not really want to see him again.

Just have her get a court order that demands that he stop bothering her. And also hand it to the boss to let him or her know of problem.
In my place of employment it is sexual harrasment no matter what station I have there if I persist bothering a woman.
